Heidi Bright (’83) published her third traditional book in 2015.

In 2009, Bright was diagnosed with an aggressive end-stage soft-tissue sarcoma that specialists predicted would end her life within months. Overcoming incredible odds, Bright has been cancer free since her last surgery in August 2011 to remove a tumor that had spread next to her heart.

Through her journey with cancer, Bright discovered powerful self-motivated ways to “mange conventional treatments, lover her body, embrace her emotions, play with imagery, deepen her spiritual consciousness, and accept support.”
