The Veterinarian’s War: Lieutenant Harry Hunt in the World War

In 1917, Kansas State Agricultural College graduate Harry Hunt followed his country into World War I and was sent to France as a large animal veterinarian tasked with caring for the beasts that pulled the guns of war. The things Lt. Hunt saw, recorded in vivid detail in the letters he sent home, describe a time often forgotten by history. Speaker Jed Dunham is a freelance writer and creator of the “48 Fallen 48 Found Project.”
