The Butler County Fair Board is hard at work reviewing the Fair Book for the 2016 Fair. Here are a couple changes they have asked me to share.
Photography
The photography superintendents and Fair Board have been working hard to make photography check-in smoother and more efficient at this year’s Fair. Changes include:
- Boxes will be labeled with each club’s name. 4-H’ers will simply put their pictures in their Club’s box at the Photography Check-in. This will be in the same place as check-in last year.
- All pictures will be measured with a template. The template is a model that has been provided by the State Photography Action Team and is also used at the Kansas State Fair.
- A county-wide photography mounting clinic will be held closer to Fair. Be watching for this information.
Open Class
There is no longer an open class for Food Baskets. However, an open class for Chocolate Cakes has been added.
