On June 1, 2019 the College of Human Ecology became the College of Health and Human Sciences. While the name is new, the college will still offer the same programs it has always offered. Our hope is that with a new name, our college becomes more recognizable at the national level and becomes easier for prospective students to understand what our college has to offer.
Sonya Lutter, associate professor of personal financial planning, was named the interim director of the School of Family Studies and Human Services following the departure of Dottie Durband. Dr. Lutter officially took over her duties in July of 2018. Lutter received her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Kansas State University and her doctorate from Texas Tech University.
