Freshman encouraged to apply for Quest Freshman Honorary

Blue Key Senior Honorary would like to ask that you invite freshman members of your organization to apply for Quest Freshman Honorary. Quest is an all-freshman organization that gives a backstage pass to K-State. Students get an inside look at some of the coolest parts of campus and Manhattan, and even get to be mentored by someone in Blue Key. While the safety restrictions around COVID can make freshman year seem even more uncertain, Quest is a great way to get involved on campus. It will help students build relationships with peers and mentors that will make their freshman year memorable and fun!

If you know someone who would be a great candidate for Quest, please pass the application along to them! Here’s the link to the application. It’s open now until September 3rd at 11:59 pm.  https://kstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8Bokp1zknxlmfXv

If you have any questions at all feel free to reach out to the Blue Key membership chair Claire McClellan at clairemcc@ksu.edu.

SafeRide to launch with new service provider

A new SafeRide service provider will be launching soon for all K-State students. The CSI is in final negotiations with a new provider which will make it possible for students to request a ride via an app on their phones, no longer have to wait for a bus to pick you up from a specific stop, and get a discount on the ride so you are spending less money out of pocket to get home safe! Keep your eyes open for an email in the next few days and a formal K-State Today announcement with instructions on how to sign up.
As a celebration of this new service provider for SafeRide, we are also giving away a FREE BIKE!! How do you enter to win? Just sign the SafeRide Pledge and share the #Cats3D (Cats Don’t Drink and Drive) logo on your social media. The bike winner will be announced on Twitter (@KSU_SafeRide) on Friday, August 28 at 2pm.
