Get ready for our fall Board of Trustees meeting, scheduled for September 23, 2016 in Manhattan. We’re working hard to put together an extraordinary showcase that will enhance your experience as one of K-State’s premier advocates, ambassadors and investors. You’ll learn about the state of the university and the foundation, the challenges we face and the emerging opportunities where you can make a difference.
Watch your mailbox and your inbox for more information later this month. Questions, contact Jennifer Fabrizius at email@example.com or 785-532-7566.
Other upcoming events: A gathering in California
KSU Foundation will host a gathering in conjunction with the K-State vs. Stanford football game in Palo Alto, California on Thursday evening, September 1, at 6:30 p.m., at a location to be determined. We anticipate that space will be limited. An invitation will follow, but we encourage you to RSVP early to Charla Henry at firstname.lastname@example.org.

More than 500 K-Staters in Texas and Colorado were inspired when the Innovation and Inspiration Campaign hit the road this spring, with events in Houston, Denver and DFW. Many thanks to all who attended these events and helped to make them a success!
Last month, Gen. Richard Myers, K-State’s interim president, appeared on K-State NOW with Richard Baker. His interview included discussion on the university’s budget, tuition increases and enrollment numbers, how philanthropy will help students, the future of K-State 2025 and more.
