It’s been a great first semester of the 2015-2016 year for the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Faculty and students have been very busy teaching, performing, researching, and gathering awards and honors! Stories in this e-newsletter include faculty news (recognizing faculty achievements and welcoming new faculty), the opening of the new Purple Masque Theatre, and the growth of the Tap to Togetherness program.

  1. I attended a wonderful choir performance last night which left me wondering about Rod Walker (I was a member of the KSU Choir in 1969-73) and what the current choir are doing. I was unable to attend the Carnegie Hall performance a number of years ago but wondered if there are any such events in the future. Thanks!

    1. Today is Rod Walker’s birthday. I have not spoken to him in some time, but you might try connecting with him via his facebook page.
