K-State is dedicated to helping students find balance in their college careers. Students are encouraged to get involved in a variety of different activities and student organizations. From joining academic groups to learning a new skill, K-State has something for everyone.

Academic and professional clubs

Gain some early career momentum by networking with like-minded students in academic and professional clubs such as the pre-nursing club, American Society of Civil Engineers, Public Relations Student Society of America and many more.

Honorary societies

Develop your leadership skills with fellow scholars in honorary societies like the K-State Blue Key Honor Society.

Multicultural groups

Add dimension to your story by learning an ancient Japanese dance or listening to an African-American poet during the Festival of Nations. Discover and celebrate cultures and treasured traditions while building your leadership skills. K-State offers a variety of ways to explore other culturesno matter your ethnicity.

Arts and culture

Draft memories you won’t soon forget at one of K-State’s all-star performances. Watch well-known performers and Broadway shows at aMcCain Performance Series event, or catch an exhibit at the Beach Museum of Art.

The Union Program Council shows movies for $1 in the K-State Student Union and has featured entertainers and performers such as comedian Aziz Ansari and hypnotist Andrew Becker. K-State has hosted musical acts such Turquoise Jeep, Jason Derulo and Owl City.

You can also catch K-State theatre, dance and music students in live performances, or see photography, sculpture and paintings by K-State students and faculty in galleries throughout campus. Or, join in the fun! Regardless of major, K-State students have many opportunities to grow their creative streak, including joining a band.
