KSU now has all the documents from USDA to proceed with the sub-award agreements. Some states will begin receiving them this week and all will hopefully be released by the end of January. Thank you for your patience this year.

Reminder: 2017 Air Force Active Duty/Air National Guard (ANG)/Air Force Reserve (AFR) Camps
We are excited to be offering the Air Force Youth Camps again this year. The announcement for the 2017 Air Force Youth Camps was released on November 16, 2016 and applications are due January 23, 2017. If you have questions or need the application information, contact Marlene at glass@ksu.edu.

2017 4-H Military Partnership Meeting – Suggestions for Workshop Topics/Ideas
Did you attend a workshop at a conference recently that inspired you to:
- work more effectively, implement a new strategy, use a new curriculum or mission mandate (Healthy Living, Science – STEM/STEAM, Citizenship) with a youth audience;
- learn a new leadership skill, find a new way to hand an old situation, find out more about your own personality, strengths, or weaknesses;
- learn more about technology and using technology with youth and youth programs;
- provide guidance in taking care yourself;
- using limited resources; or
- how to work more effectively with youth and/or adult groups?

Lightning Talks are a fast-paced, highly energetic delivery style that was first introduced at the 2011 4-H Military Partnership Meeting. Based on the positive responses to these talks, the planning team has once again included them in the 2017 agenda!
