This is an exciting time when our donors, sponsors, alumni, faculty and firm recruiters come together to celebrate the most elite students in our accounting program. e time when we celebrate the accomplishments of our alumni and induct a new member into our K-State Accounting Hall of Fame. This year we inducted Mr. Ken Selzer CPA, Kansas Insurance Commissioner, into our Accounting Hall of Fame. Mr. Selzer has a distinguished career record. Prior to serving as Commissioner, Mr. Selzer worked in the reinsurance industry for more than 30 years, most recently as an Executive Managing Director for a worldwide brokerage and insurance services firm.

He graduated with honors with a B.S. in Accounting from Kansas State University and earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Ken and his wife Deb are strong supporters of our accounting program and fund the Kenneth A. Selzer Kansas Insurance Commissioner accounting scholarships.
