McKayla Brubaker is a May ’15 alumna of ACJ. She lives in Starkville, Mississippi with her Australian Shepherd puppy, Gypsy. McKayla is currently working on her Master’s in Ag and Extension Education at Mississippi State University. In her “spare” time as a graduate student, she enjoys learning new “Southernisms,” volunteering at the local animal shelter, and taking Miss Gypsy for walks.
Lana Barkman, (’13) Agricultural Education and Communication’s master’s alumna, works at K-State for the Great Plains Grazing project as the Extension Program Coordinator. Her husband Caleb, (’11) K-State ASI, recently accepted a new position as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension Agent for Pottawatomie County. They reside near Manhattan, Kansas, and enjoy working on their home and playing with their beloved Barkman Bunch.
