All of our understanding is built upon basic knowledge. The College of Arts & Sciences is the academic heart of the university for this very reason. Every K-State student takes courses in our College, where knowledge is firm and far-reaching, often serving as a solid foundation for advanced learning and applicable across a variety of disciplines.
For the common welfare of the university, its students and the nation it serves, we must continue to strengthen this academic heart of K-State. Private support is essential in order for us to continue to produce visionary leaders and informed citizens who contribute to society and who make a difference. One glance at a recent newspaper provides insight into how our graduates are making a difference in the world – economically, politically, socially, scientifically, thoughtfully – that’s the Wildcat Way.
Financial support from alumni, friends, corporations and charitable foundations is crucial to the continued success of the College and its students – Thank YOU for making us successful.
If you are interested in supporting the College, please contact Sheila Walker, Senior Director of Development for the College of Arts & Sciences, at sheilaw@found.ksu.edu or 785-532-7511 to discuss the area of support about which you are most passionate.
Thank you,
Peter Dorhout
