Dear A&S Colleagues,

Can you believe the semester is already half over and we are 10 weeks in to a great semester? For those of you whom I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting, I would like to introduce myself. I am the new Interim Assistant Dean for Diversity, Recruitment, and Retention. October marks my 5th month in the position. This has also been a very exciting semester for diversity promotion in A&S and at the University. Greetings Colleagues!

As the College’s associate dean for academic affairs, one of my areas of responsibility is international programs, including study abroad. Current possibilities cover many opportunities in Europe, South Africa, Vietnam, India, China, and Central and South America. But we want to do more, because our students’ futures lie in a truly global community.
