  • Request from ASI Communications & Marketing: As you plan your semester, I encourage you to share any upcoming hands-on learning activities happening in your classroom. These activities provide excellent opportunities to capture engaging photos and video for departmental promotion. If possible, please provide details at least one week in advance to Emily Grund (egrund@ksu.edu) to help plan for proper coverage and highlight the incredible work happening in your classes.
  • Update on the 2025 federal transition and executive orders
  • Campus Master Plan: View the preliminary plan Feb. 3. – A Campus Master Plan town hall will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, in the Banquet Room of the K-State Alumni Center.
  • New Cybersecurity Training available February 3 – The Division of Information Technology (IT) is launching its latest cybersecurity training course on Feb. 3 as part of our commitment to maintaining a secure digital environment. This annual training is a vital component of the university’s Secure Access initiative and is mandatory for all faculty, staff and student employees through the State of Kansas ITEC Policy 7230 – Information Technology Enterprise Security Policy section 8.0 Awareness and Training Standard.The invitation to the training will be delivered to your inbox on Feb. 3 from system@listmos.com.
  • Save the Date: Mark your calendars for the 112th Cattlemen’s Day hosted at the National Guard Armory on March 7, 2025. Registration details and the event schedule can be viewed here.
  • Save the Date: Mark your calendars for the ASI Graduate Student Research Symposium that will be held on Thursday, May 8 at the Stanley Stout Center. The ASI Graduate Research Symposium is a great opportunity for graduate students to showcase and present their research with ASI peer graduate students and faculty members, get feedback, and better prepare for the conferences held in the summer. Your participation is key to the success of this event. A “Call for abstracts” email will be shared closer to the event date.
