K-State Swine Day
View more photos here.
The 2024 K-State Swine Day was very successful! More than 400 producers and allied industry reps from 26 states along with Kansas State University students, faculty and staff attended this year’s event hosted at the KSU Alumni Center. Several of the participants commented on the great program and fellowship that was shared. 36 exhibitors and 21 additional sponsors shared their new technology during the trade show and were very complimentary for the opportunity to interact with pork producers and students. During the day, K-State faculty and graduate students presented updates on applied research findings and featured a presentation from Dr. Kyle Coble and PJ Corns on “Creating Opportunities in a Large Production System.” The 2024 Swine Day Report contained 41 research papers summarizing 47 experiments utilizing 122,559 pigs. The report along with videos of the presentations are available on KSUswine.org.
