Abigail Jenkins, graduate student in K-State Applied Swine Nutrition, is the 2024 recipient of the Thaler Family Swine Nutrition Scholarship. Dr. Bob Thaler completed his PhD in swine nutrition at Kansas State University in 1988 and has spent his career in South Dakota State University. He and his wife, Karen, sponsor the scholarship yearly for a graduate student in the K-State Applied Swine Nutrition program.
