UPCOMING EVENTS & CONFERENCES:

HENRY C. GARDINER GLOBAL FOOD SYSTEMS CONFERENCE & LECTURE:

  • This special event will take place on October 7 at the Alumni Center and promises to deliver even more impactful and science-based discussion on the global food system. New this year, in addition to the evening Gardiner Lecture, we’re hosting the Gardiner Global Food Systems Conference—a half-day event designed to bring world-class, thought-provoking dialogue to the public space. The conference will feature addresses by:

    Dr. Craig Gundersen, Snee Family Endowed Chair at the Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty, 2:45 – 3:45 pm

    Topic: Alleviating Food Insecurity in the United States: The Critical Role of Meat

The evening keynote will be delivered at 7:00 pm by Peer Ederer, at McCain Auditorium who will speak on “The Scientific Evidence Behind the Role of Livestock and Meat Production in a Global Society.”
