Retreats are one of the most useful and valuable activities that student organizations can participate in.
A retreat is a planned time for your organization to step away from your normal routine for the purpose of reflection, learning, planning, teambuilding, and/or evaluation. Retreats provide the opportunity to rejuvenate members’ motivation and enthusiasm for the organization, and to accomplish organizational goals and work.
The Center for Student Involvement is committed to helping you plan a successful retreat for your organization. To do this, we’ve created a Retreat Planning Guide, as well as scheduled help hours to discuss your questions, ideas, and concerns. Handouts, workshop recordings, and presentation slides on a variety of leadership topics are also available on the CSI website.
