Faculty Awards, Promotions and Retirements:

  • Congratulations to Dr. Caterina Scoglio and Dr. Bala Natarajan on their promotion to full professor.
  • Congratulations to James DeVault!  After 28 years, Jim is retiring from Kansas State University and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.  Jim has been a key factor in the development of our core courses in electronics and digital electronics over the years. We wish him the best, he will be greatly missed!
  • The University of Kentucky announced that Dr. Ruth Dyer, K-State’s senior vice provost for academic affairs and professor of electrical and computer engineering, was inducted into its College of Engineering Hall of Distinction. The induction ceremony took place Friday, April 12, 2013.
