First Scholars
Hello! I hope this newsletter finds you doing well! The first cohort of First Scholars at K-State are doing great! There are 21 First Scholars and they represent every area of Kansas. Thank you for allowing your scholar to be at K-State! I am really enjoying getting to know the scholars and I think they enjoy each other as well!
Transition Course
Scholars participate in a transition course that meets once a week. We focus on the transition to college and different skills to assist with test taking, note taking, reading, and will also have several presenters throughout the semester to talk about different services and resources.
Socials
We have socials once a month where Scholars are able to hangout with one another and have the opportunity to relax! Socials are a great time to continue building relationships and to get to hangout!
