A Wildcat weekend packed with purple pride! Over 125 alumni and friends joined Kansas State graduate students, Graduate School staff and administrators in Cat Town for a tailgate celebration prior to the K-State football game against the Iowa State Cyclones on Saturday, November 21.
Even though the weather was extremely cold, the fellowship within the tent was exceptional as the graduate school administrative team and leaders from the Graduate Student Council reconnected with our alumni and friends.
Students shared their research endeavors and stories, K-State administrators touched on the 2025 visionary goals for the Graduate School and alumni reflected on experiences from their time spent at K-State.
Willie the Wildcat stopped by to lead the guests in a effervescent K-S-U chant!
Wahoo Fire and Ice catered the tailgate and K-State Bakery Science Club provided the baked items.
If you were not able to attend this alumni event, the Graduate School will be hosting an Alumni Reunion April 8-9, 2016 and invite alumni and friends to come back to campus to reconnect with fellow graduate alumni, visit with faculty from your department, witness current student’s research and revisit the ever-changing K-State campus! Save the Dates will be emailed soon.
