When starting graduate school at Kansas State University in 1967, John Berschied did not realize the lasting impact his chemistry professors would have on his life. International students come to K-State to study through Fulbright program
13 international graduate students, from all parts of the world, are advancing their education at Kansas State University through the Fulbright program.
The Fulbright program provides international students the opportunity to explore and engage with students and faculty in their field in a different cultural setting while undertaking a graduate experience at a U.S. university. Goodbye to summer, hello to the fall semester
Just this past week we welcomed over 300 new graduate students to campus during our 2017 Fall Orientation.
Since a majority of incoming graduate students are new to K-State, the Graduate School provides an orientation to help transition these new graduate students into their new roles through our Welcome and Orientation Activities. The Orientation activities are designed to provide students with the tools to succeed during their time at Kansas State University.

Eisenhower Hall, a work in progress
It has been over 30 years since the Graduate School called any place other than Fairchild Hall their home. As mentioned in our Spring 2017 Graduate School Alumni Newsletter, the Graduate School established a new residence in Eisenhower Hall in March 2017.

Graduate School brings alumni home
The Graduate School, in partnership with Graduate Student Council (GSC), hosted the first GSC Alumni Reunion July 14-16. The Reunion brought graduate students who served as committee and executive leaders of the GSC while they were graduate students at K-State back to the Manhattan campus. The Reunion gave the attendees an opportunity to experience how the university campus has changed since they were students and to participate in networking events that reconnected classmates, colleagues, faculty, current GSC leaders and K-State administrators.
