You can make a difference! Support graduate student progress towards graduation

In the Graduate School, we hear on a regularly from students that they, just like many working adults, encounter challenges in making ends meet, putting healthy food on the table or paying health-related expenses. These challenges impact student physical and mental well-being, in turn negatively impacting academic success.

On August 9th, we launched a fundraising campaign to address unmet needs of graduate students and support their journey towards graduation. We hope you will join us in this effort. Visit our giving page to learn more about the ways you can contribute and make a gift to support K-State graduate students. As an alum, you are an important member of the K-State community. Your commitment and support are essential to enhancing the scholarly experiences for our graduate students.

The ceremony was special not only because some graduates had waited a year for this occasion, but they also had the unique opportunity to experience commencement on the football field at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

Dean’s Message: Farewell and Reflections

Dean, Carol Shanklin

As I prepare for retirement on January 9th, I want to highlight a few accomplishments while serving as Dean of the Graduate School since 2007.  The focus of my work has been on enhancing the graduate student experience and advocating for our graduate students, one of the themes of 2025 Strategic Plan.
