Research line/area: The integrative control of blood flow, oxygen delivery, and skeletal muscle fatigue during exercise in healthy and diseased populations.
What brought you to Kinesiology: I chose Kinesiology as a MAJOR because I liked to exercise. I chose Kinesiology (specifically Integrative Physiology) as a career in research because of the outstanding faculty, graduate students, and scientific culture that the Department of Kinesiology has at K-State.
Future plans (post-graduation): To receive post-doctoral research training followed by a career in academia as a Professor of Integrative Physiology
