Earlier this month, I shared the following message with K-State faculty and staff regarding where to direct students for academic support and student success.  It’s important to me that parents receive these updates so you can provide the necessary support for your student.

In preparation for midterm exams, it is important to keep in mind all of the opportunities and ways that a student can seek academic support and success. Many of these are at no cost and built around a student’s schedule. As part of the K-State family, it is important we continue to work together to connect our students and one another to services.

Safety Resources: Meet Campus Police

This is the first article in a 3 part series about K-State’s safety resources.

There is an unspoken expectation that students’ safety won’t be compromised when they come to college. K-State has made it a priority to ensure that expectation has always been met. A major element in securing student safety on campus is the K-State Campus Police Department. The department’s mission is, “to preserve a safe campus environment where diverse social, cultural, and academic values are allowed to develop and prosper.”

National study finds K-State the best value in Kansas, best for graduates’ starting salaries

infographic-2For the second year in a row, a study by SmartAsset finds Kansas State University is the best value in Kansas when it comes to getting the most bang for your education bucks. And for the second-straight year, the study finds the average starting salary for Kansas State University graduates tops that of graduates of other schools in the state.
