USCCAH welcomed special guests — senior executives of the Consulate General of China in Chicago, American Veterinary Medical Association, Zoetis, Banfield Pet Hospital and a representative from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, as well as deans from five partnering veterinary colleges in the U.S., Europe and China — as part of its second annual reunion event Sept. 26-27. The reunion is an important learning opportunity for our students to come together for face-to-face exchanges of experiences from their class-room studies and internships at different institutions. It also helps them reconnect in their personal lives and cultivate/grow friendships that are essential for them to work as a team after they go back to China. This reunion is also a great opportunity for all of our partners to review and refine the program, while enjoying the students’ presentations and interaction with them.
