In the Spring of 2013, Marilyn Ortega (then President of Triota) registered Triota as a KSU student organization. Triota started off running and led by current Vice-President Adena Weiser, Triota was able to secure funding to bring Rosa Clemente to campus during the fall semester of 2013! The group held its first fundraiser this year at Purple Swirl during Homecoming Weekend and is looking to do a possible art show fundraiser during the spring semester of 2014.
