You may think of the word “endowment” as a financial term, but as many K-Staters will tell you, it’s actually a way to create a lasting legacy. When you establish an endowed fund, your gift is invested and managed in perpetuity. A portion of the investment earnings is distributed to a purpose you are most passionate about, while your original gift is preserved as principal.

In short, your gift lives on, providing experiential internship opportunities at The Gardens. It lives on to support and inspire the faculty and staff of The Gardens by providing the plant materials for The Gardens each year. Generation after generation is touched, enriched and inspired by your gift. If you would like to learn more about endowed funds, contact Emilie Fink, development officer at the KSU Foundation, emilief@found.ksu.edu or 785-532-7571.
