The Kansas State University Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow Club (ACT) is excited to announce the 2nd annual Farm to Fork 5K April 16. The race will kick off the K-State Open House and honor this year’s theme “Rooted in Purple” through highlighting agriculture in the State.
The run is a fundraiser for the ACT chapter and will begin and end at the Large Animal Reproduction Center, one of the many livestock units of the University. The run is scheduled to start at 8:00 am and end at 9:30 am.
The runners can expect to see the different animal units of the University and signs about agriculture along the route. The race is designed to give runners a look into Kansas agriculture.
The cost of the run is $25 and includes a t-shirt and donuts at the finish line. To register for the race visit https://farm2fork5k.wordpress.com. If you or your company would like to sponsor the race or have questions about the Farm to Fork 5K, contact Mikhayla DeMott at mrdemott@ksu.edu.
