  1. I remember working a 4-6 am, once a week, easy listening radio shift at KSDB when I was in grad school. It’s hard to imagine, but I looked forward to volunteering that time each week. I could completely immerse myself in wonderful music and feel rejuvenated. I learned new musical artists from the student before my shift, as well as from dorm switchboard operators who requested specific songs. The janitor would always stop by and request an Elvis Presley song. It always surprised me how many people listened in the middle of the night. Congratulations KSDB! I’m glad you’re still helping students enjoy a love of good music, news, and the radio.
