Welcome to the first Department of Geology e-newsletter! We hope this will be the first in a long series of communications intended to keep our alumni, their families, and other friends of the department updated with the latest developments in K-State Geology. We are also hoping that the newsletter becomes more interactive in the future—not only as a way for us to communicate with you but for you to communicate with us.
Thanks!
It was great to see the Department of Geology e-newsletter. It has been a few years. How is the new building coming along?

Glad that you are producing a geology e-newsletter. I’m very interested in how our science is evolving. Once one gets rocks in their head one always has rocks in their head. Keep up the good work.
Lots of news. This should be a good addition to the Geology website.

Thanks for the newsletter. I have missed getting them. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next one!

This first e-newsletter opens a new era of communication for the K-State Geology Dept. This is a major step in communications between alumni, faculty and students. As the current chair of the Geology Department Advisory Council I am confident that this e-newsletter will open many doors for opportunities within the department, faculty and students.
