Diversity Research Forum Call for Proposals

Institute for Student Learning Assessment and Diversity Summit WordmarkThe Institute for Student Learning and Assessment, in collaboration with the Diversity Summit, will host a Diversity Research Forum on Thursday, November 3rd in the Student Union. The forum will provide opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to learn about research and teaching practices that relate to diversity learning outcomes.

Proposals to participate in the Research Forum are encouraged from from students, faculty, and staff. Topics could include diversity in and beyond K-State, exploration of cultures from a unique viewpoint, applied research in student learning, engagement, or achievement or diversity teaching strategies.

The application deadline is October 3rd. applicants will be notified of their status by October 10th. Submit a proposal.

K-State Receives Excellence in Assessment Designation

Sustained Excellence in Assessment DesignationKansas State University was one of ten universities recognized with the Excellence in Assessment Designation. The EIA Designation is co-sponsored by the Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA), the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA) and the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). The EIA Designation recognizes institutions for their efforts in intentional integration of campus-level learning outcomes assessment focusing on campus processes and uses of assessment outcomes, rather than on student performance or accomplishment.
