The Office of Assessment and Office of Planning & Analysis are hosting a workshop for faculty and staff on how to use Power BI to create dashboards and reports. This workshop will be a step-by-step, hands-on walkthrough demonstrating how to connect to data sources, transform and model datasets, and create interactive data reports. The session is meant for report creators–it will not cover how to use reports that others have created to view and analyze data.
Canvas has immense capabilities that can reduce the amount of time spent on the process of assessment. The Office of Assessment can help programs implement these new tools and design custom reports that meet the program’s needs. The custom reports works to enhance the data and act as an approachable deliverable to departments, faculty and programs.
