Spring Bachelor of Science grads

Brooklyn Hnizdil, Jamie Engelken, Rashelle West, Sam Honey and Melissa Daovannary graduated in May.  Engelkin, West and Daovannary accepted positions with financial planning firms in the Kansas City area.

Honey is working with a financial planning firm in St. Louis and was profiled in the June 29 issue of Investment News.

Engelken is one of three inaugural winners of CFP® Certification Exam Scholarships. The New Planner Recruiting program provides reimbursement to the scholarship recipient for the fee incurred to take and pass the CFP® Certification Examination. Finishing up their coursework this summer are Avery Aiken, Caitlin Hogan, Emily Wolters and Colton Gentry.

Graduate earns top notice in Investment News

Tom Martin, CFP®, was included in Investment News’ inaugural class of 40 Under 40.  The PFP graduate, who lives in Ft. Wayne, IN, is a partner of Larson Financial, one of the largest medical and dental financial service firms in the U.S.

According to Investment News, Martin “has dedicated his career to making doctors’ financial lives easier so they can focus on patient care.”  He is co-author of Doctor’s Eyes Only, a guide on financial topics.
