- Kristin Anders, Assistant Professor in Human Development and Family Science, won the Distinguished Dissertation in Emerging Adulthood Award from the Society for Study on Emerging Adulthood
- Jared Anderson, Associate Professor in Couple and Family Therapy, was recognized as the Reviewer of the Year for the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy
- Amber Vennum’s, Associate Professor in Couple and Family Therapy, work was recognized with a Civic Engagement Fellow from the Center for Engagement and Community Development; her work was also recognized with an award from the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood
- Elaine Johannes, Associate Professor in Human Development and Family Science and Extension Specialist, won the KSRE Team of the Year Award for her work on the Culture of Health
- Elizabeth Kiss, Associate Professor in Personal Financial Planning and Extension Specialist, also won a KSRE Team Award
- Erin Yelland, Assistant Professor in Human Development and Family Science and Extension Specialist, was recognized as the best paper reviewer and won the Student and New Professional Best Paper Award from the National Council on Family Relations – Families and Health Section
- Derek Lawson, Assistant Professor in Personal Financial Planning, won the Outstanding Research to Practice Award from the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education
- HanNa Lim, Assistant Professor in Personal Financial Planning, won the Outstanding Symposium Research Paper Award from the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education Martin Seay, Associate Professor in Personal Financial Planning, won the Best Research Award from the Financial Planning Association
- Cherie Stueve, Instructor in Personal Financial Planning, won the Military Spouse Fellow Scholarship from the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education and FINRA Foundation
