Sports Marketing guest speaker series continues its successful run

The inaugural MKTG630:Sports Marketing Speaker Series in the fall of 2017 drew experts in the field of sports marketing from around the Kansas State campus and from major regional sports organizations, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Sporting Kansas City. Building upon the success of the fall 2017 semester, the instructor, Douglas Walker, associate professor in marketing, invited the speakers from those companies to present at the spring 2018 semester sports marketing class and also recruited representatives from several other sports businesses.

Kansas State University to launch major in professional strategic selling in fall 2018

Beginning in the fall 2018 semester, the Kansas State University College of Business Administration will launch a major in professional strategic selling, becoming just the 19th university in the United States, and the only one in Kansas, to offer a major in sales. K-State Sales Team takes home top honors at Arizona Collegiate Sales Competition

The Kansas State University Sales Team beat out a field of seven other universities to win the University Champion award at the 2018 Arizona Collegiate Sales Competition.
